Facebooktwittergoogle_plusredditpinterestlinkedintumblrmail  dining_room_1 The dining room in the National Yacht Club has long been considered one of the finest dining rooms in the country. It runs almost the full length of the club with the full height windows and doors providing magnificent views of the harbour, Dublin Bay and Howth. The dining room has direct multiple access to the stunning veranda with full panoramic views from Joyce’s Tower in Sandycove to the South all the way over to the Dublin City skyline and the new Lansdowne Road stadium to the North. The room is exceptionally handsome with crystal chandeliers hanging from it’s tall ceilings. Historic painting adorn the walls. Great moments such as when Steve Fawsett broke the Round Ireland record are remembered in the magnificent trophy he left to the club. The room is steeped in nautical history and the boats bobbing in front of the platform ensure that the nautical theme is ever present. The Dining room is used by many of Ireland’s leading firms and associations for major corporate events and celebrations. It is also an exceptionally popular venue for weddings, christenings and milestone birthday parties. No matter what the event, the catering will be first class with a friendly and attentive staff there to ensure each and every event is a great success.
