The Open (Multihull) Division for which the Cork Dry Gin Perpetual Trophy is awarded, and the Monohull Division for which the Cork Dry Gin Monohull Trophy is awarded. Both divisions are open to yachts sailing in either direction around Ireland at a time agreed, starting and finishing at the Kish Lighthouse; or to yachts competing in the Round Ireland Race. Timing and reporting procedures for all Kish to Kish record attempts shall be agreed with Irish Distillers and the National Yacht Club who will provide officials to monitor and record the challenge. In the meantime the fine trophy and record remains with the National Yacht Club.
