NYC Walking Group

Facebooktwittergoogle_plusredditpinterestlinkedintumblrmailThe next outing of the NYC Walking Group is Sunday 4th March 2012. Meeting in Crone Wood car park @ 12 noon Directions  The simplest route is to take the R755 from Kilmacanoge up Rockey Valley and turn right at the junction with the R760, signposted Powerscourt Springs (rather than heading up towards the Sugar Loaf) Follow the waterfall signs a the Coolakay/Ballyorney junction and straight on until you reach the Dargle River (waterfall entrance) and then bearing sharp right.  Crone Wood car park is slightly over one mile along on the left (Ordnance Survey Sheet 56 – 19/14) Alternatively this can be reached by taking the R760 south from Enniskerry and straight on at the Coolakay/Ballyorney junction. All NYC Members and friends are welcome.  Remember to bring walking boots, rain gear and a packed lunch as we will have a break at the half way mark. Depending on the weather we will walk Maulin or, if wet, stay in Crone Wood. Any queries to Desmond Campbell on 087 256 5587 or email
