They are now heading back towards Lorient but have already declared their hope to come back later this year to and cross the start line in better conditions. The WSSR team at the National yacht Club DunLaoghaire have enjoyed tracking their progress, and wish them “Bon Voyage” on their return to Lorient. The 20 year old record of 44 hours 42 mins 20 seconds established by Lakota still stands! Musandam Oman Sail will be back in June (20th to 24th) in Dun Laoghaire and the NYC as part of the stopover of the Route des Princes Trimarans race around Europe.
