Powerboat Course Level 1 and 2

We will be holding a Powerboat levele 1 and 2 course in the NYC on Saturday and Sunday, 20th and 21st April.

Training for Optimist Trails/ OPG Sailors

Four day training for Optimist Trails/ OPG Sailors takes place at the NYC on the following dates –

Sunday 21st April, Saturday 27th April, Sunday 28th April, Sunday 19th May

Clare Gorman Sparkles in the Snow at Braassemermeer

Ten Irish Optimist sailors including six from the NYC (Heather Spain, Dara Donnelly, Hugh Perette, Patrick Coyle, Cliona Coyle and Clare Gorman) travelled to Braassemermeer in Holland for the Magic Marine Easter regatta.

Record Breaking Optimist Sailing at Lake Garda

NYC Optimist sailor Loghlen Rickard joined 1054 others, including 6 Irish, in the 2013 Lake Garda Meeting in Italy this Easter weekend. It was classified as being one of the largest single-class regattas in the world and a Guinness World Record was broken.

Optimist Regatta – Lake Braassemermeer

Ten Irish Optimist sailors have travelled to Holland with ISA coach Thomas Chaix to compete in the Lake Braassemermeer Optimist Regatta.

Brassed-Off Cup Cancelled

The Brassed-Off cup in Howth has been canceled due to the terrible weather that we are currently experiencing!
