Easter Fun For National YC juniors

Easter Fun For National YC juniors

When the weather plays ball, the kids enjoy sailing!

The two weeks of the Easter break may have been cold and split by the last (we hope) storm of the season, they certainly deliver some great sailing for our juniors starting with a week of home open based clinics and courses and concluding with the awaited Irish Sailing Youth Nationals where our top sailors battled for the 6 nationals titles on offer.

NYC Optimist Development Programme – Pre-summer 2023

NYC Optimist Development Programme – Pre-summer 2023

The Optimist Development programme is aimed at sailors who aim to learn, to sail in the club and eventually compete in events and other competitions in 2023. While there is a focus on development and performance, our plan is based on the NYC’s core values of family, friendship and sporting excellence.

All sailors and parents MUST READ AND ADHERE TO the Club’s code of conduct to encourage good behaviour and camaraderie: Code-of-Behaviour

Read carefully the requirements for the various groups before enrolling your child using the form below.

Kids should be happy to go sailing on their own and have access to their own boats or charter boats.

We will be offering 4 levels:
start sailing
basic skills
improving skills
- start racing

You can find more information on Irish Sailing Website if needed.
