The National Yacht Club Policy on Participation in Water Sports Activities by Children and Vulnerable Adults.

 

The National Yacht Club policy applies to anyone under the age of 18 years and to vulnerable adults.

 

At the National Yacht Club we seek to nurture and develop all children and vulnerable adults who participate in sailing and all water based activities through our club.   We are committed to creating a safe, friendly and welcoming environment where children and vulnerable adults can develop their full potential. All those in our care are treated with respect and their achievements celebrated.   Our policy relates to all volunteers, employees and contractors working at the National Yacht Club. We select and recruit those working with the club with these principles in mind.   If you have a concern or allegation please contact the National Yacht Club Children’s Officer who will respond quickly to your concern or complaint according to our policy and using the guidelines, policies and procedures specified in the ISA Code of Ethics and Good Practice for Children’s Activities.
