NYC Optimists compete in Optimist Team Racing event in Venice

Four of our junior sailors travelled to Venice on 12th May to compete in the XXIV° Trofeo Marco Rizzotti, the Venice International Optimist Class Team Racing Cup – Sarah Cooney, Sorcha Donnelly, Conor Kneafsey and Daniel Raymond.

Contractor appointed for shower upgrade work

The contractor has been appointed to carry out the upgrade work to the shower system in the Club. This work will ensure that there will always be adequate hot water available to deal with peak demand.

Work will commence on the 31st May. The work is expected to be completed no later then the 25th June.

Irish Laser Masters at the NYC

The National hosted this years Irish Laser Masters Championships in glorious sailing conditions on Dublin Bay’s Scotmans Bay on 22 & 23 May. This event is exclusive to laser sailors over 35 and had 3 sub fleets, Apprentice (35-44), Masters (45-54) and Grand Masters (55+) all using the Laser standard full rig.
