WOW Spring Chicken 1720 Racing Registration

The National Yacht Club is entering its two 1720s in the DBSC Spring Chicken series to give a taste of sailing and racing in Dublin Bay on a keelboat to all ladies interested.
This is a fun race and the emphasis is on participation and training and having a good time!

Volvo D2D 2019 – Entries are now open!

The National Yacht Club is delighted to announce the Volvo Dun Laoghaire to Dingle Race 2019, which will start on Wednesday 12th June!

ONLINE ENTRIES ARE NOW OPEN on www.d2drace.ie

The entry fee is €350. An Early bird fee of €275 will apply for entries received before Friday 29th March 2019. The closing date for entries is Friday 31st May 2019.

NYC members Hugh O’Connor, Tom Dolan, Mark Lyttle, and Vicky Cox & Peter Dunlop, are in the running for the prestigious Afloat Irish Sailor of the Year competition! Vote for them now!

On Friday, February 8, our judging panel will announce the Sailor of the Year at the RDS in Dublin — and you can have your say by voting in our poll on any page of the Afloat website

Interested in joining Irish Sailing as Team Racing Development Officer ?

Irish Sailing is putting together a funding application to support our Team Racing strategy and is seeking quotes for a contractor to develop the programme starting late Spring of 2019 with a tight timeline for the funding application of 18 January.

They are seeking quotes from self-employed contractors, for a one-year, full time, initial contract as Irish Sailing’s Team Racing Development Officer. DBSC Spring Chicken Series 2019

Sunday 3rd February – Sunday 10th March 2019 

A series of six races to be held on Sunday mornings from 3rd February to 10th March organised by Dublin Bay Sailing Club.

Entry fee is €60.00 – including temporary membership of D.B.S.C. and National Y.C.  After sailing, food will be available to competitors in the National Y.C.
