The annual Freshwater Regatta hosted by LDYC in Dromineer incorporated the Flying Fifteen West Coast Championships and was deservedly won by the National Yacht Clubs David Mulvin and the clubs Commodore Ronan Beirne with Rory & Andy Martin (SLSC) one point behind in second place. Despite Storm Brian’s best efforts the regatta was not all lost as 4 races were raced on Sunday after Saturdays cancellation. As forecasted the winds had moderated in this area for Sunday.

Winter Dinghy Platform Parking – Online Application Form

Application for platform parking for dinghies this winter is now online. Please use the form here to apply and pay.

Dinghies taking part in either the junior training sessions or the DMYC Frostbite racing series must complete this form prior to bringing their boats back on the platform.

Please note that platform parking DOES NOT REOPEN before Saturday 21st October as the boathouse still has to lift many keelboats on trailers and position them on the platform post our main lift-out on Saturday 14th October.
