NYC Walking Group – Crone Wood

2011 Gets Underway at Blustery Rush GC.

Twenty odd brave souls braved this Fingal links on Friday. Although the weather was testing, a strong and chilly breeze blew all day, the course itself was in brilliant condition. Greens, fairways and even the rough were conducive to good golf.

2011 gets underway in blustery Rush 

Twenty odd brave souls braved the Fingal Links on Friday last. 

Although the weather was testing, a strong and chilly breeze blew all day, the course itself was in brilliant condition.  Greens, fairways and even the rough were conducive to good golf.

RC Laser Racing continues every Sunday

Sunday Feb 13th:

We had a very light wind racing session on Sunday between 11:45 and 13:30 (early due to the rugby match) was ultimately delayed due to lack of wind.

NYC Golf Society Head to Rush Golf Club on Feb 18th

Back to the beautiful Rush Golf Links on Friday 18th Feb.

The manager tells me that the course is in great condition, and that it as wintered extraordinarily well – no need for mats this time apparently.

The agenda for the day is Golf from 10:00 (18 hole and 9 hole competitions), and back to NYC for fish [...]

NYC Walk 6th February – UPDATED

The February walk will take place next Sunday 6th February, meeting at Luggala car park on the R759 overlooking Lough Tay (map reference 169/075 sheet 56).  This car park is about 3/4 mile past the Pier Gates on the right and is signposted Wicklow Way
