Welcoming our new Catering Manager

As we await today for the next Government announcement regarding guidelines to re-opening hospitality, spare a moment to consider the various options we have here in the National Yacht Club.

We would like to give members the opportunity to avail of a range of dining options including smaller private dining rooms for those long awaited friends and family reunions, postponed milestone occasions or the much looked forward to “catch-up”.

For bookings and further enquiries, please email

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce you to Roshan Kisto who has joined us as Catering Manager and who I am sure will also be a great asset to the catering operation in the Club.

Christmas Tree Fund & Noah’s Ark Fund

Dear Members,

As this year draws to a close and we reflect on a very different time in NYC history, we take comfort in the many sailing activities we successfully ran, and the outlet the Club provided as a place to relax and unwind from a difficult year.

Our priority is to give you, our Members, a safe environment for you and your families to enjoy the festive celebrations and all their welcomed traditions.

Speaking of Club traditions, this brings me to our annual staff fund where members express their appreciation by way of a contribution which is divided amongst staff, and I would like to encourage you to donate using the online form linked below and thank you in advance for supporting your Club staff.

With kind regards,

John O’Grady
Club Manager

Fergal McCabe kindly offered to donate his fine watercolour, “A Dun Laoghaire Cappricio”, to the National Yacht Club.

We were delighted to accept the painting, as it not only depicts the National Yacht Club, but also as it has several other links to the club via the Dublin Bay 21’s as well as “Setanta”. Fergal has provided a very useful note, which provides some fascinating details of the painting and its inspiration.
